Indus AI Week 2026 is a week-long national platform focused on artificial intelligence in Pakistan, designed to bring together government, industry, academia, startups, students, and the general public to learn about, engage with, and adopt AI technologies. It runs from 9 – 15 February 2026 and is led by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication
Indus AI Week aims to:
Accelerate national AI adoption across sectors.
Strengthen talent development with skills training and certifications.
Support startups & innovation with expos, competitions, and pitches.
Foster policy, industry & academia collaboration.
Promote responsible, inclusive, and practical AI use across Pakistan.
1. Indus AI Summit (9 Feb)
A high-level conference at the Jinnah Convention Centre (Islamabad), featuring policymakers, international AI experts, industry leaders, and researchers. Its goal is to shape Pakistan’s national AI strategy and encourage global partnerships.
2. Innovation, Learning & Engagement Arena (9–10 Feb)
A public expo at the Islamabad Sports Complex with:
AI training and certification workshops
Startup showcases & investor connects
Job fair with on-site interviews
eSports & interactive AI exhibits
Tech showcases from government, industry, and startups
3. Nationwide AI Activities (9–15 Feb)
Across Pakistan, universities, companies, and tech hubs will host co-branded workshops, hackathons, seminars, meetups, and showcases under the Indus AI Week banner.
AI for HER: A dedicated pavilion empowering women in AI with panels, mentorship, and showcase opportunities.
AI Wrapper Competition: A product-focused challenge where builders demo AI solutions live, with awards and follow-on support.
Tech & Startup Pavilion: Platform for AI startups to pitch, exhibit, and interact with investors and partners.
